Waking night support / Carer needed for friendly disabled teenager in London
Waking night support worker for disabled boy with additional health needs. 2 regular waking night shifts per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and or Thursday nights) with the possibility for more shifts. Starting hourly rate is £15. Pro rata holiday paid.
What are you going to do:
We are looking for a reliable and caring waking night support worker / carer for a 16 year old friendly autistic boy with epilepsy and additional health needs.
He lives at home with his family and dog. His team of support workers help him with his daily life & routines & all of his personal care.
You would need to cover 2 consecutive nights (Tuesday & Wedensday or Wednesday & Thursday). These are waking nights at the family home.
The training for this position will be during the day initially.
Training is provided by team members on his health needs, care needs, and behavioural support (ABA).
This could be an opportunity to learn a lot and to be part of a very nice supportive team.
This position is for 26 hours per week
You would need to be willing to commit for a minimum of 12 months.
You need a keen interest in disability, psychology and / or nursing .
