Regional Loss Prevention Advisor (21104) in London

We are currently looking for a field based regional loss prevention advisor to cover the following regions, South, South West & London.

Reporting to the Head of Retail Audit, you will support a variety of stores within designated regions to review, detect, minimise & investigate loss. You will work to support your regions in achieving the stock and margin loss objectives in proposing actions to address issues identified, providing advice & working with colleagues to ensure clarity & education to protect business profitability. Support the Loss Prevention team to achieve company objectives. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Build an effective working relationship with retail Store Managers and Regional Mangers within your designated area 
• Promote a Loss Prevention culture within you regions with the aim of reducing cash loss and stock shrinkage through compliance to company policies and procedures 
• Carry out store compliance audits to identify and remedy inconsistencies in company policy and procedures 
• Provide coaching and training to develop and improve compliance standards in stores to individuals and small teams 
• Support the Company Loss Prevention strategy by identifying and investigating internal theft and fraud  
• Complete investigations into excessive stock, cash and margin loss 
• Build and manage relationships with local Police authorities, along with key finance & operational managers  
• Liaise with Police officers to ensure a smooth transition of investigations into internal and external theft and fraud 
• Prepare detailed reports to highlight investigation or store visit findings to the business 

• Great people skills, able to influence a Loss Prevention culture within your designated area 
• Flexible, self-motivated, resilient & tenacious 
• Ability to work using own initiative, under pressure, balance workload & deadlines 
• You must be a strong communicator able to deliver corrective feedback and carry out difficult conversations with individuals and small groups 
• A clean driving license is essential along with the willingness to travel (some overnight stays will be required) 
• Strong observational and analytical skills 
• Able to follow instructions, work under pressure and prioritise workload 
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft excel , PowerPoint, MS Word, Bumblebee, SIM
• Sound knowledge of potential areas of cash, stock & margin loss 
• Experienced in interview techniques 
• Aware of Legislation affecting your role (preferable) 
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, with ability to interrogate and mine information 
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with experience of report writing
