Role Description:

  • Procurement IT require a ServiceNow Platform Architect with extensive knowledge of ServiceNow across multiple products and capabilities, ideally with exposure to Procurement Service and Supplier Lifecycle Management ServiceNow products.
  • HSBC Global Procurement are undergoing transformation and adopting ServiceNow as a strategic platform to digitize procurement processes with the aim of improving colleague experience.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • This role requires a strong and hands-on ServiceNow Platform Architect who can provide technical expertise against demands considering the platform’s architecture, capabilities, and best practices. These include the production of good quality technical documentation to support internal governance processes as well as development teams/partners in line with ServiceNow’s Implementation best practices.
  • This role will work as part of a newly formed team and will interact with senior business and technical stakeholders across the organization.
  • ServiceNow is widely used across the organization and this implementation provides the job holder with a great opportunity to influence how the organization matures its ServiceNow Centre Of Excellence and Innovation.
Requirements

Essential Skillset/Experience:

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Demonstrate significant experience in multiple and complex ServiceNow implementations with proven exposure to a variety of ServiceNow products ideally beyond ITSM/ITOM. Preference will be given to candidates with Procurement, Supplier Lifecycle Management, HRSD, CSM, Legal or Workplace Delivery experience.
  • Ideally hold relevant and current ServiceNow certifications (e.g.: CMA, CTA, CSA, Implementation Specialist etc.)
  • In depth knowledge of integrations between ServiceNow and multiple system of records ideally in the Procurement space (e.g: Coupa, Oracle Fusion, Archer). Expert knowledge around integrations (IntegrationHub or custom – REST/API etc.) expected.
  • Ability to provide technical governance and design leadership across multiple areas of the ServiceNow platform, including: functionality, data modeling (CSDM) , developer APIs, development tools etc.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining architectural roadmaps ensuring a balance between product features and the platform’s health is maintained.
  • Excellent communication skills as leading stakeholder workshops and meetings will be mandatory (including System Integrator experience) as well as offering guidance on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment.
  • Ability to support and coach developers and administrators as required. Serve as a point of escalation on critical and complex incident troubleshooting.
  • Core understanding of Agile Methodology and ITIL based processes.

 

 

The role will be based in Sheffield but some travel may be required. This role supports Hybrid working (1-2 days in the office per week)
