Site Admin Assistant 

Northampton Distribution Centre (SDC)

Fixed Term 12 month contract, 39 hours per week, Mon-Fri (occassional weekend)

An opportunity has arisen to work at our Distribution Centre in Northampton as a site admin assistant, working on a 12 month fixed term contract upto May 2024.
The Role :

The role is to assist the Site Leadership Team by undertaking general administrative tasks, including but not exhausting; stationary ordering, general kitchen supplies and to provide admin support for site-wide project activities.  Responsibility for end-to-end site purchase orders, including rectifying purchase orders with suppliers / purchase ledgers.  To create engaging site communication and display and communicate on site noticeboards and social media.  Rresponsible for the uniform process for the site, including maintaining the uniform database and tracking system, processing colleague uniform requests, liaising with uniform suppliers regarding orders and invoices. To provide administrative support with site-wide monthly, annual and ad-hoc engagement activity and arrange and support with fundraising activities on site.

The Person :

• Experience working in an administrative role in an office environment
• Excellent organisational skills, working to a high level of accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong customer focus / people skills
• Experience in word, excel, powerpoint and social media
