Indirect Tax / Global Trade Manager - SAP GTS - Open to flexible working in London
Job description
Our Indirect Tax professionals help clients to manage their indirect tax compliance obligations, identify opportunities and mitigate indirect tax risks. They use their deep experience and knowledge of different legal and regulatory systems around the world to help clients manage their global indirect tax footprint as well as achieve their business goals. In an ever changing world our indirect tax professionals provide pragmatic commercial help so clients improve their day-to-day reporting and management of indirect tax. This includes improving working capital, reducing errors, reducing costs and generally ensuring indirect taxes are handled correctly. They advise how indirect taxes such as value added tax (VAT) or goods & services tax (GST) affect the client’s supply chain and financial and accounting systems.
Your function
You will join the UK Global Trade team, one of the biggest amongst the Big 4, and be part of the wider UK Indirect Tax practice.

- Post go-live support
You demonstrate outstanding expertise in SAP GTS functionality and are capable of designing and implementing GTS best practices.
Thanks to your leadership skills, you make sure your implementation team delivers to the highest standards. You have an active role in the internal and external brainstorming and management meetings to bring our technical solutions to the next level.
Your profile
- You have obtained a university degree or equivalent by experience
- You have at least 5 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience in SAP GTS
- You have worked on one or more of the following GTS modules: import/export management, trade preference management, and special customs procedures
- You have a good understanding of SAP ECC/ S4 HANA processes around Sales, Procurement and Logistics
- High-level experience with cutover, go-live and data migration
- Nice to have – You have knowledge of Debugging and SAP ABAP Objects
- Nice to have – experience of GTS-EWM and GTS-TM Integration
- You have experience with international and large-scale projects
- You have interest in international trade and commerce
- You have excellent oral & written English communication skills
- You are a motivated person and a team player
