About the role

Due to an increased number of practice sales, new practice openings, extensions and support required, we’re growing our Finance function further and developing a new team. As part of this new team, we’re looking for an Assistant Commercial Finance Analyst to work on a hybrid basis from our Support Office in Swindon.

As an Assistant Commercial Finance Analyst, you will work closely with the Commercial Finance Analyst and be a key business partner to the Partnerships team, and wider business, building constructive and effective partnerships. You’ll deliver excellent customer service to the team whilst building strong working relationships to provide forecasts for practices and challenge assumptions in partnership with the Operations team.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to);

• Producing 10-year business plans for various scenarios
• Preparation of 10-year forecasts for practices
• Working closely with the Regional Finance Managers, and other departments including Operations and Property, to ensure accurate revenue and costs in the forecasts
• Analysis on revenue and costs to continually update and challenge assumptions used in the financial models and assist with the development of the models
• Producing indicative share valuations
• Managing financial information flow with external valuations team and ensuring deadlines met
• Assisting with projects
• Administration and management of pipeline workflow

About you

• You’ll ideally be AAT qualified (Level 3 or 4) and study support is available towards ACCA / CIMA
• Advanced Excel skills are essential, and knowledge of other MS Office applications is required
• Ability to work at pace, and have a high level of organisational skills
• A self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a wider team
• Be able to deliver a high level of customer service
• High level of attention to detail
• Effective communicator at all levels
• Team player, able to communicate and work effectively across disciplines
• The ability to own problems to a conclusion
