What you will be doing
You’ll be working with prison transfer service users, who will be with us for 12- 22 weeks as part of their assessment and stabilisation of acute mental health episode, where you’ll have a positive impact on their lives.
With a large supportive team that works well together in a higher end of risk environment, every service user will be fully risk assessed with sufficient staff available to provide the appropriate level of supervised care and a high focused on safety and security.
As a Mental Health Nurse (RMN) you will ensure service users receive high-quality care, while supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork.

The service operates 24/7. You will work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights. Standard shifts are 12.5 hours a day, working 3 days one week, 4 days the next.

Wellesley Hospital is conveniently located near Wellington, close to the M5 and commutable from Taunton, Exeter, Yeovil and surrounding areas.
