Requirements
Essential Skillset/Experience:
· Candidate should have good understanding of external cloud (GCP preferable)
· Candidate should have a good understanding of ‘Infrastructure as Code’ concepts
· Engineering experience of 2 or more Automation & CICD Tools- Terraform / Ansible / Jenkins / Git / Groovy etc
· Should have good scripting knowledge
· Nice to have a knowledge of Kubernetes and/or automation experience of managing Kubernetes Clusters and Containers
· Should be able to work with different teams (spread across multiple locations) to develop a scalable, reliable, and resilient software running in the cloud.
· Good communication skills
· Extensive training options are available to work towards formal Cloud Engineer accreditations
The role will be based in Sheffield but some travel may be required. This role supports Hybrid working (1-2 days in the office per week)
