The Role:

The Purpose of the Role:  Employer Branding and Social Media Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping and promoting Holland & Barrett's employer brand. This role is a part of Recruitment team that looks after 3500 vacancies a year in Retail, Technology, Commercial, Production, Distribution and Corporate functions, as well as unique roles in Business and Science. You will be responsible for managing our external image and reputation in the talent market, as well as driving recruitment marketing initiatives to attract top talent to our diverse range of roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the ambassador of Holland & Barrett's external employer brand, ensuring our image and reputation in the talent market are compelling and consistent.
  • Educate and inspire internal recruiters, hiring managers, and employees to effectively communicate our story as an attractive place to work.
  • Implement a comprehensive recruitment marketing strategy across key channels, including careers site, job boards, social media, CRM, events, and promotional collateral.
  • Create and curate engaging online content that promotes Holland & Barrett as a desirable employer.
  • Maximize visibility of our job openings through paid advertising on job boards and other relevant platforms.

Location: Hybrid / London based

The company has a Hub in London and Nuneaton and we typically expect colleagues to spend sometime each week in there with occasional travel to other locations.  We're a global, digitally enabled business and we expect our colleagues to be self-driven and to determine the most appropriate place to work each day to meet the requirements of the role, achieve their best performance and optimum output.

The Person:

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, or internal communication with responsibility for Social Media Content calendar.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing channels, including social media, job boards, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively promote our employer brand message.
  • Ability to inspire and educate internal stakeholders on employer branding best practices.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content.
  • Strong project management skills to plan and execute recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Flexibility to work in our London and Nuneaton Hubs with a hybrid working policy.
