About the Role:
As a Delivery Lead, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to build and launch the new Petcare digital platform. You'll take charge of software development and lead the delivery team for Integration. In addition, you'll facilitate crucial conversations and collaborations between the development team and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a software development team, guiding them through the Agile process and facilitating necessary ceremonies.
- Bridging communication between the software development function and internal/external stakeholders.
- Overseeing the deployment of software into test and production environments with strong controls.
- Collaborating with the team to track and report on metrics like velocity and burndowns.
- Coordinating with the Product Owner to manage the features backlog and plan roadmaps.
- Proactively identifying and eliminating impediments and issues to maintain development momentum.
About Your Experience:
We're seeking someone with a solid track record in Software Delivery, preferably within an enterprise-level context. You should have hands-on experience with Enterprise Integration migration and transformations.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience managing software development teams.
- Deep understanding of SCRUM and other agile lifecycles (e.g., Kanban).
- Demonstrable involvement in Enterprise Integration migration/transformations.
- Previous exposure to agile software development environments resulting in successful software product deliveries.
- Proficiency in presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, in various settings.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and techniques, such as TDD.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and establishing strong development practices.
Desirable:
- Exposure to Greenfield product development.
- Solid grasp of services/micro-services-based architectures, along with their pros and cons.
