With over 450 stores, 310 Groom Rooms, and 440 First Opinion Vet Practices, we offer a fast-paced, innovative, and fun work environment where our people make a real difference. This is your chance to work for an award-winning company that puts people at the heart of everything we do.

About the role

As a Senior CRM Developer, you will work on a hybrid basis from our Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire) and report into to the CRM Manager for campaigns.

In this role, your main focus will be to enhance the success of our email and app marketing efforts by coding, building, and testing communications for our customers. You will lead a team of two developers, collaborating closely with them to create bespoke and template communications.

We are seeking someone who can work with our CRM Marketing team to develop, build, and manage email and app campaigns with a mobile-first approach. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying campaign-related performance and providing reports to superiors.

Key responsibilities will include supporting, coaching, and line managing a Junior Developer and a Developer. You will encourage and facilitate their professional training as needed. Collaboration and reporting to key stakeholders and cross-functional teams will be essential to consistently deliver quality communications that align with business objectives and adhere to industry best practices and design standards.

Your expertise in HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices will enable you to create and code responsive and interactive experiences for email. You will also develop and modify email templates and existing campaigns, including conducting A/B testing. We encourage innovation and a mobile-first approach, and you will contribute to the modernization and evolution of our customer communications.

About you

To excel in this role, you must have a clear understanding and experience in coding and HTML.

Line management experience is essential, as well as advanced knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS. Proficiency in responsive email design and front-end development is crucial, along with experience in JavaScript and the Adobe Creative Suite. Working knowledge of SQL and AMPscript is desirable.

Familiarity with email compliance regulations, email marketing, and marketing automation technology is also important. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize workloads are vital for success.

If you have a good understanding of consumer direct marketing and/or online experience, multi-agency experience, and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Tableau reporting platform, that would be highly desirable.

Join our team and be part of a dynamic and innovative organization where your skills and expertise as a Senior CRM Developer will make a significant impact. Apply now and take your career to the next level.
