About the role

Joining our Visual Merchandising team, you will find yourself working in a high-energy environment. Building merchandising plans that focus on landing the right range for our customers whilst supporting our category strategies. Using data, insight and supplier knowledge to help build efficient, logical and customer-focused planograms, you will also support wider stakeholders to interpret how our strategies influence range reviews and activity plans.

You will closely work with our buying, supply and marketing teams, to support the delivery of our commercial strategy by creating merchandising briefs that land in our stores. Assisting us to maximise space and drive sales by applying learnings seen through data, trends and customer feedback.

You will co-ordinate & effectively manage key milestones to deliver all tasks according the activity timelines.

Key responsibilities (will include, but not limited to):

Support the team to deliver range layout proposals to cross functional groups

Support product live builds to deliver increased sales and profit

Apply creative thinking to products of all shapes and sizes to pull them together into a  collective display

Manage workloads to deliver against the critical path

Ensure all projects, range reviews and initiatives land right first time

Review and address any issues before they go live in stores

Provide accurate information to support the team to build plans

Input accurate and timely data in to range review documentation

Build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, understanding priorities and promoting a collaborative approach

Build a reliable network within commercial and wider internal teams to ensure we deliver a best in class approach

Be an ambassador for merchandising, and a positive spokesperson to drive engagement and add value

What you’ll need:

Previous experience within an FMCG or retail environment would be advantageous

Ability to build strong working relationships

Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills

Ability to work at a fast pace and on overlapping tasks

Good Excel & Microsoft Office skills

Great attention to detail

Experience of working with Space Planning software would be advantageous but not essential
