Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About us

Home. There’s no place like it. And there’s no feeling like helping people create the joy of feeling truly at home.
At Dunelm, that’s what we do.

We’re the UK's number one choice for homewares because we make home life lovelier for our customers. And the caring and supportive culture we've created makes this a place you'll feel right at home too.

You might not think it, but remaining the first choice for savvy homeware-shoppers involves some pretty advanced tech. We’ve recently made our website serverless, making us the largest user of AWS Lambdas in Europe (second in the world), and we’re bringing more and more tech into our stores.

Our Behaviours/Values

Our shared values of 'act like owners', 'keep listening and learning', 'long term thinking', and 'stronger together' help ensure we are always finding better ways of doing things and spending our time focusing on what’s important.

Leading self

Taking time to get to know others and building empathy and rapport. Developing relationships that help build mutual success. Being seen as a ‘go to’ person and a magnet for others to connect with.

Communicating in the most engaging ways with colleagues and customers. Developing a shared understanding of what’s going on by keeping yourself and others updated. Sharing information and insight that helps others do their jobs.

Always seeking to discover something new. Asking why and seeking to understand to improve knowledge.

Acknowledging you won’t always have the answers and asking when you don’t know.

Making decisions with integrity, in line with our purpose and values.

Identifying and delivering ‘quick wins’ that also consider the future impact. Speaking up when you believe decisions are not in line with our values.

Enjoying the opportunity to take ownership and do the right thing. Seeing tasks through to completion and delivering on promises, asking for support as you need it. Being self-driven and determined, accepting responsibility for your actions.

Being committed and wanting to do your best for others. Having a ‘can do’ mindset, being optimistic and determined about the challenges ahead. Having courage to speak up when you see things that could be improved.
