Experienced Hire Employer Brand Manager – UK&I – Talent Attraction and Acquisition – UK wide

The opportunity
This is a hands-on role reporting to the Head of Employer Brand, leading on key campaigns to support our Experienced Hire talent attraction strategy during an exciting period of growth. You’ll be empowered to own relationships with key stakeholders in the business and develop exciting activations across all service lines, with a particular focus on attracting a more diverse talent pool to EY. Your key responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across Recruitment, Talent, Global Employer Brand and our UK Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function to align employer branding campaigns to key communications initiatives and hiring needs across the business 
  • Own the reporting and measurement of our Experienced Hire talent attraction strategy, understanding key business drivers and the role of Recruitment within the context of our overall business objectives
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of our recruitment marketing activities across all service lines and locations in the business.
  • Act as a leader within the employer brand team – providing colleagues with daily support and guidance to help them develop and grow 
  • Drive innovation and creativity within the Experienced Hire recruitment team, sharing best practice with the wider business on audience mindset, messaging and creative 
  • Own the day-to-day relationship with our creative and other partners to maximise value and ensure all agreed deliverables are met 
  • Oversee the budget for Experienced Hire activity, tracking invoicing to ensure no overspend 
  • Work with the wider Talent team to ensure an understanding of how marketing efforts affect the application pipeline and identify where interventions might be needed
  • Proactively scan the market to understand the latest trends in the employer branding space and beyond, with an eye on new campaigns, channels, and initiatives across the market

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Project management skills – ability to plan and manage time and activity effectively. You will have experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relationship building skills – ability to build productive relationships with a range of colleagues and stakeholders. You will be an active listener - but able to express your opinion when relevant.
  • Leadership skills – experience of managing a team, leading on campaigns, and owning a budget. You will be able to bring out the best in others, motivating and providing guidance to more junior colleagues in the team. 
  • Commercial awareness – you will have experience measuring complex business goals and deliverables – regularly reporting on these to teams and stakeholders. 
  • Resilience – you will be able to work under pressure in a complex business, to respond to change and to lead others through change

 

To qualify for the role, you must have 

  • Previous experience working in the employer branding space with a passion for the field  
  • An advanced understanding of employer brand trends and best practice 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Previous experience working in a professional services environment 
  • Previous experience leading a team or leading through others
