Role Description
This Equity Derivatives IT Lead Architect will be part of the Equity Derivatives IT team in HSBC’s Global Banking and Markets Division. The Equity Derivatives technology group spans the globe and services all client areas within the bank for Equities related services. Curiosity and a growth mind-set driven by continuous learning are key values within our team. We’re looking for a talented Lead Architect with a passion for designing, building, deploying and supporting large-scale systems in a rapidly moving environment
Responsibilities
The Equity Derivatives Lead Architect will work with department’s functional team to transform a largely legacy platform to a modern, service-orientated set of strategic services to support the front-office Equity Derivatives business. The focus will be on building highly scalable solutions for a growing business using the latest technologies.
The Lead Architect will be responsible for defining the target state architecture and principles and for ensuring all development meets the department’s architecture guidelines.
- Establish and maintain successful relationships with key business sponsors, peer IT groups, Product Owners, Front Office, Risk Management and Finance to ensure all developments and deliveries across the Equity Derivatives stacks are following global architecture guidelines and supporting the Future State Architecture strategy.
- Participate actively to all relevant committees to promote IT strategy.
