Summer School Teaching Assistant in Cambridge

What are you going to do:

Teaching assistants will work alongside teachers to deliver a presentation and public speaking course to a group of international students over five days. On the first day you will receive full training for the role, before meeting the students who are participating. For the rest of the week, you will help the course leaders teach the students the key elements involved in creating an effective presentation. You will work closely with the students to demonstrate good techniques and help them present what they have learned to the group at the end of the week.

Ideal Candidate:

·      Current student or recent graduate of the University of Cambridge (within 3 years)

·      Available to work the entirety of the week beginning the 3^rd of September 2023

·      Excellent communication and people skills.

·      Enjoy working with young people aged 15-16

·      Enthusiastic about teaching

·      Works well within a group

·      Energetic, positive, and outgoing personality
