Product Manager - Forecasting (23170) in London

Please note, this role can be remote based in the UK, but will be required to attend meetings in Nuneaton and London at least once a month

About the role

In this role you will be providing Product support in our ambitious Supply Chain roadmap that includes both product improvements and engineering excellence. Ensuring that the engineering team are equipped with clear requirements and is aligned to the overall Forecasting and Replenishment area's direction. Working collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure that development work is done as efficiently as possible and in an iterative manner, that allows us to react to changes rapidly & deliver value quickly supported by short feedback loops.

  • Providing solid understanding of the Forecasting Product needs, strategy and constraints 
  • Providing deep knowledge of users and customers, and providing the team with insight about how our customers engage with our Forecasting products
  • Business process modelling
  • Creating problem statements, roadmaps and creating rollout plan with stakeholders
  • Creating Product Requirement Documentation
  • Stakeholder management and engagement - we work with a ‘3 Amigos' mentality 
  • You will be providing the Product team with necessary knowledge to create solutions that are both valuable and viable 
  • Maintenance of Epics in Jira 
  • Working in partnership with the Engineering Manager for the assigned squad and supporting squad rituals 

Skills and experience

  • Extensive Supply Chain experience especially within Demand Forecasting / Demand Planning / Supply Chain Planning   
  • Experience as a Product Manager or working with product teams 
  • A good understanding of Product Discovery and building iterative roadmaps that deliver outcomes in line with business goals.  
  • Knowledge and ability to practically apply the techniques and methods of Product discovery and Product delivery 
  • Understanding of Machine Learning techniques is highly desirable  
  • Understanding and experience with data essential. Technical knowledge of working with data preferred (Excel, SQL etc.) 
  • User centric mindset, ensuring the balance between effort and impact, quality, and delivery and ability to manage requirements from multiple users
  •  Able to define and analyse Product metrics and know when and how to apply each in order to influence the success of the Product
