Hybrid working:  required travel to Handforth Support Office (Chester House, Greater Manchester, SK9 3RN at least 2 days a week)

About the Role:

As a Senior Reward Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the design, communication, grant, and vest process of our share plans. You will lead the implementation of competitive, creative, and cost-effective benefits, as well as transform our benefits proposition across the business. Your role will involve analysing our benefits proposition to support international recruitment, benchmarking reward and benefits practices, and managing relationships with external providers. Additionally, you will contribute to pension provisions, lead benefits projects, carry out reward analysis, and drive process automation and optimization efforts. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting effective business decisions and implementing practices that align with our people and business strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, communication, grant, and vest process of our share plans.
  • Lead the implementation of competitive, creative, and cost-effective benefits.
  • Drive the transformation of our benefits proposition across the business.
  • Analyse our benefits proposition to support international recruitment.
  • Benchmark company reward and benefits practices, propositions, programs, and policies.
  • Manage all aspects of pension provisions.
  • Foster relationships with external reward and benefits providers for quality and value.
  • Lead benefits projects.
  • Conduct reward analysis and create data reports to support effective decision-making.
  • Manage communication plans and promote our benefits offerings.
  • Embed new practices that support our people and business strategy.
  • Drive process automation and identify areas for task time reduction using robotics.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Provide input on resource planning and policy development.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience in a reward and benefits role, with a track record of delivering projects and initiatives.
  • Degree or equivalent work experience required; experience in a PLC environment is ideal.
  • Proficiency in job evaluation and grading structures, including benchmarking activities.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with share plans, such as SAYE, LTIPs, Restricted Stock Plans, and bonus deferral schemes (desirable).
  • Experience working with a reward platform (desirable).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
  • High standards of professionalism, creativity, and a proactive attitude.
  • Initiative-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and willingness to support the wider Reward Team.
  • Demonstrated credibility and confidence when engaging with senior leadership.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a straightforward, honest approach.
