We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Client Implementation Manager.

Successful Client Onboarding and Implementation is a critical part of Client Management and relies on effective working relationships between Client and Internal business partners to manage end to end implementation; from client kick off, to scoping, documentation, and go live using tried and tested methodologies to deliver high quality client experience, while speeding revenue realization to the bank.

The GTRF UK business has ambitious targets working with clients and Fintech companies to serve best in class Trade solutions and we are seeking an experienced individual to join the Client Management UK Team to support HSBC’s Structured Trade Finance Implementation Projects and Programmes.

In this role, you will:

•    Work closely with clients’ Treasury and IT departments while building a strong rapport internally with stakeholders such as Sales, Structurers, Senior Client Managers, Technical Integration Managers, Operations and Structured Product Leaders providing high level of implementation consultancy 
•    Focus on best practises to deliver implementation scope as efficient as possible and within agreed timeframe. As the Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for the time to revenue deal cycle
•    Project Manage and perform timely and accurate set ups; organise and lead internal/external stakeholder meetings and review project status against the plan; risk analyse roadblocks and identify timely resolution
•    Prepare relevant presentation materials showing project/programme delivery status and present during senior client meetings and if scope requires during regular SteerCo meetings
•    Ensure close and effective working relationships with key HSBC business partners; UK CMB (senior management, Business lines/segments); HTS and HRD (IT, Change Delivery, Service delivery); Global functions (e.g., Risk, Finance); Global GTRF, core Project Teams
•    Establish effective mechanisms for sharing best practices to enable a consistent approach and appropriate escalation of information to senior management and relevant Senior Client Managers
•    Log lessons learnt for post-implementation phase and provide full handover to Client Managers
•    As part of wider Structured Trade Finance Team, support Senior Client Managers for varied clients’ ongoing needs, where required

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Have demonstrable Project Management experience
•    Keen interest to manage Client Portfolios and build strong rapport with internal/external stakeholders
•    Internal/ external stakeholder management; including but not limited to Operations, Technology and Client Service; across a diverse region and at senior client level
•    Result driven, able to perform risk analysis with consistent track record of on-time/on-quality delivery
•    Work independently and under pressure whilst using strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve complex problems, manage ambiguity, and adhere to timelines, ensuring high quality output
•    Ability to filter and prioritise multiple demands, resolve conflicts, and develop consensus
•    Have attention to detail and strong focus on client-centricity
•    Strategic thinking and high level of business acumen and commercial awareness
•    Good MS Excel, PowerPoint skills; ability to manage complex data with aim to present senior stakeholders.

The base location for this role is London with Hybrid working.
