Engagement Manager, GBM Strategy in London

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the Global Banking and Markets Strategy team as an Engagement Manager, Global Strategy.

In this role, you will:

•    Driving strategic initiatives focused on delivering maximum value for the Group shareholder.
•    Identify key issues/opportunities and using HSBC and external sources to provide actionable recommendations for HSBC.
•    Managing key stakeholders across GBM and the Group.
•    Effectively lead execution of the key strategic initiatives including track periodically progress against agreed KPIs.
•    Ensure proper and timely consideration of market, industry and competitor analysis (including benchmarking) to support planning and performance management activities.
•    Work with Associates / Analyst and alongside Directors (as required) on strategic reviews and to improve quality of strategic planning, management information (MI), accountability and governance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 

•    Experience of working within a Strategy environment is Eessential.
•    Experience of working within a Consulting firm.
•    Strong Banking knowledge, ideally in Investment Banking.
•    Highly effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
•    Strong stakeholder management experience.
•    Highly analytical with experience of working with data.

The base location for this role will be split between the London office and working from home.
