Online Trading Coordinator in Leeds

As an Online Coordinator, you will be part of a recently established team which has been created because of the astounding online growth Asda has seen since 2020.  

We have a new Part-Time Online Coordinator maternity cover vacancy within our Food team, which will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to be part of a large, diverse, and inclusive team, operating a multi-billion pound business - we are proudly the number two online grocery retailer in market share. The role is a job share, working 3 days a week.

As an Online Coordinator, you will report on sales for your category and deliver actionable insights to drive performance. You will work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to ensure category promotions and events are executed strongly online. Your contribution will be key in growing the profitability of our online channel including improving the fulfillment rates of our online orders.  

You will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with our ecommerce merchandising team to make the online shopping experience easier for our customers and help them navigate the best customer journey online. You will also manage category range change activity to ensure it lands right first time online at the same time as it lands in store.   

About you  

• Previous retail experience, ideally within an online or commercial role  
• Strong commercial awareness and a data driven approach 
• Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of customer requirements and an understanding of the competitors in the market.  
• Project management skills
