Liquidity and Investment products is a core product offering of GPS.  The product set enables clients to efficiently manage and optimize their cash across markets globally, using a combination of liquidity management techniques, as well as, provide the ability to invest and redeem their excess cash across an array of investment options. These work seamlessly and in complement with clients’ accounts payables/receivables and treasury processes. 

The Liquidity and Investment Product Management (L&I PM) team is responsible in conceptualization, design, development and commercialization of the product offering, in close partnership with the wider organization and stakeholders.  One of the key solutions developed and managed by this team is a cash analytics service called the Liquidity Management Dashboard (LMD) that provides client comprehensive information of its liquidity positions and cash flows. 

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Product Manager.  In this role they will support the Global LMD functional owner in driving design and execution of key propositions which focus on digital and data. This will cover a range of initiatives that enhance client experience of existing L&I products through various digital channels, as well as, bring new product and proposition enhancements to our client base.  

This role is based in 8 Canada Square, London working on a Hybrid working basis, with up to two days a week from office location, and, when needed to attend in-person meetings in the office. 

In this role, you will:

  • Drive execution agenda activities to support LMD product development.  This may be technical or proposition related in nature.
  • Drive validation of ideas and solution design by conducting focus group interviews, market research and proof of concepts
  • Through execution responsibilities support global product owner in ensuring sales, distribution and support models are fit-for-purpose for both mid-size business clients and large corporate clients
  • Be responsible for liaising with technology, digital and vendor IT partner teams to scope out work and drive forward deliverables and project execution activities within the organisation’s change framework  
  • Support the global product owner, in managing & evolving the offering so that it continues to meet client expectations, maintaining reliability and scalability, and manage & mitigate operational risks across all dimensions
  • Understand how rapid changes in technology (e.g. Big Data Analytics, API), industry (e.g. Open Banking, Real-time payments) and emergence of FinTech players could be harnessed to solve existing cash analytic challenges in Corporate Treasury space and support global product owner in creating new business opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Extensive experience with a strong track-record and execution excellence in Corporate Treasury 
  • Experience in developing cash analytics product as a ‘product-provider’, from design to commercialization and/or operating in digital/cloud based service model (SaaS) 
  • Direct hands-on or consulting experience of cash analytics in Corporate Treasury environment
  • Understanding big data analytics and experience of applying such practices into business use cases 
  • Ability to effectively work with multiple business and technology partners to solve Treasury challenges through a combination of technology application and process reengineering
  • Working knowledge of software design architecture patterns, web and mobile security issues, application performance management
  • Insight into emerging technologies and customer trends in financial services like Application Program Interface, Data Analytics, Mobile, Wallets, etc 
  • Good understanding of Payments and Liquidity product propositions
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global, matrix environment with minimum direction
  • Project management experience in global and regional projects that involve stakeholders in multiple locations, at different levels of seniority and the implementation of complex systems/products
  • Lateral thinker with excellent analysis skills and ability to structure problems to find solutions and results driven
