As part of this exciting transformation, we are expanding our in-house development team and seeking talented Senior React Native Developers to join us on this incredible endeavour.

About the Role

As a Senior React Native Developer, you will play a crucial role in one of our cross-functional product teams. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around guiding technical decisions and implementing solutions for our customer-facing mobile app. A balanced blend of technical expertise and excellent communication skills will be essential for success in this role. Additionally, you'll be an advocate for developing with accessibility and performance in mind while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

• Proven experience in building mobile applications using React Native with TypeScript.
• A strong focus on Test-Driven Development, with the ability to write automated tests using Jest and React Native Testing Library. Experience with end-to-end testing is also desired.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and the ability to thrive in an agile development environment.
• A keen eye for code quality, and a dedication to establishing and adhering to code standards and documentation.
• A customer-oriented mindset, with a passion for data-driven development to enhance user experiences.
• Understanding of scalability and the ability to optimize user experiences.
• Experience in effectively collaborating and communicating with stakeholders and product managers to shape and improve products in development.
• Willingness to mentor and guide other developers within the team.
• Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and a passion for continuous learning.
• An open-minded and collaborative approach, with a willingness to engage in pair programming.

Desirable Skills:

While not essential, experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

• Native mobile app development using Kotlin and/or Swift.
• Familiarity with package managers such as NPM and Yarn.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, although not a requirement, would be beneficial.
