Description
Join our dynamic and fast-paced team as a Marketing Manager for our Pet Care Centres (PCC). At our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire, you'll be a crucial player in delivering compelling audio, digital, and printed assets to support campaigns, promotions, events, and category launches. As we introduce our new brand across in-store assets, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our entire store network. You'll report directly to the PCC Marketing Lead and take charge of both line management and financial budgeting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Team to create customer-focused, semi-permanent POS for product launches and educational communications during category range reviews.
- Build strong relationships with the Commercial Team and establish yourself as a customer champion within the team.
- Assist the Supplier Partnership Team in executing branded in-store activations that boost footfall and sales.
- Champion in-store execution during campaign deliveries, translating national campaigns into effective store experiences.
- Work with the wider Pets Marketing Team to drive POS+1 campaigns, leveraging their specialized skills.
- Support the Propositions Team by orchestrating in-store activations that drive customer engagement and achieve business targets.
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns for children's events in-store, including event collateral.
- Serve as the brand guardian for all PCC marketing assets, ensuring consistency in design and tone.
- Collaborate closely with the preferred print supplier to optimize production processes.
- Deliver clear and timely store communications to ensure 100% implementation across the estate, in coordination with the Retail Operations Team.
- Partner with the PCC Marketing Lead to formulate the annual marketing budget.
- Ensure all marketing activities adhere to the budget, identifying savings opportunities while prioritizing environmental considerations.
- Stay informed about competitor activities and contribute actionable insights to improve our strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships, conducting regular meetings and quarterly reviews for smaller suppliers.
- Foster a culture of high performance, utilizing a high challenge/high support approach with your direct report.
About You:
- Possess instore marketing experience, ideally within a leading UK retailer, and have a strong understanding of print.
- Exhibit project management skills, capable of overseeing projects from initiation to completion, handling multiple stakeholders, and delivering on time and within budget.
- Demonstrate resilience and tenacity, with a proven record of delivering impactful in-store marketing activations.
- Showcase strong commercial acumen, generating tangible results through effective marketing endeavors.
- Thrive as a team player with excellent collaboration skills, able to build rapport with diverse stakeholders including the commercial team, specialists, and operations teams.
- Display exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, influencing and engaging stakeholders at various levels.
- Possess experience in briefing agencies, meticulous in proofing copy and creative.
- Have previous experience in managing people.
- Exhibit an inquisitive mindset and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth within the team and the wider business.
