Are you a Catering Assistant looking for the perfect work/life balance? If so, this could be the catering job for you.
Join our staff bank at Reene Court as Bank Catering Assistant and enjoy the flexibility of picking up available shifts that suit you. When shifts are available, you'll be notified and can accept the ones you want.
It’s a calm and pleasurable working environment, with a Chef and kitchen team, where you’ll be able to manage your workload and enjoy supporting the smooth running of the kitchen.
There’s a great social aspect to this role where you can interact with people outside the kitchen regularly.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and cooking of meals
- Ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s policies and procedures
- Undertake general kitchen duties, including putting away deliveries, cleaning and washing up.
- Ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with current Guidelines
To be successful in this role, you will:
- A good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety in the workplace
- Relevant Catering Qualification
- Basic Food Hygiene Level 2
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
