The role we are currently recruiting for in Brighton is a Full-Time Operations Officer Asset Services role. This role is a permanent position, where hybrid working is an option, as well as working part-time. The annual salary is annual salary of £27000.
The company
You will work for a bank with origin in the Netherlands. This bank is internationally cross border organised and has operating companies in Germany, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. The ABF is designed as a specialised business subsidiary within the bank.
ABF provides Leasing and Commercial Finance/Asset Based Lending solutions to customers in all segments: SME, corporates and large corporates including international clients. In the Netherlands this is mainly to the bank's clients, in other countries this is mainly to non bank clients. In the smaller end of the segments, the focus in on having a digital offering, with standardised and harmonised products and processes. In the larger segments, the focus is on a coverage model, with a modular product offering that allows for bespoke solutions.
The Operations department is made up of the following teams; Collections, Operational Treasury, Data Management, and Asset Services. Operations plays an integral role in providing a variety of key support functions to front line and client facing services.
The responsibilities
It is your job to calculate and implement the end of the month reserves for Commercial Clients within the agreed SLA. To ensure the Client reconciles to ABF UK and sends all relevant Invoices and Cash. Furthermore, you will have responsibility of a portfolio of Clients. To ensure ABF UK receive all Clients’ monthly reports by end of each month and to complete the portfolio within the agreed SLA.
Risk Handling – recognises and flags up the (potential) risks in cases of departure from the standard procedures, proceeds accordingly and reports such cases to the Manager. Improvement Proposals – identifies possible ways of improving processes and procedures. Develops improvement proposals and is involved in their implementation. Achieving and recording KPIs and KRIs.
Requirements
Required level and content of education; Completed BA or University degree.
Required employment experience / skills:
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel;
- Experience with Aged Receivables and Aged Payables;
- Reconciliation experience;
- Good analytical skills;
- Motivation and willingness to learn;
- Ability to prioritise.
