Are you an Vocational Liaison Assistant looking to work for a company that supports, values and recognises your dedication to delivering great healthcare? If so, this might be for you.
Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, his role will support with enhancing patients recovery through facilitating realwork opportunities both internally and externally. Helping to create opportunitiesfor patients within the community whilst simultaneously supporting the hospital tobuild positive relationships with external services. This role will help us to providepatients with the experience of realistic job roles to enable them to develop theirindependent living skills further and to develop skills for future employmentfollowing discharge from hospital. This individual will also oversee the running ofthe onsite shop which we are planning to develop into a café.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be supported regionally and will have access to a variety of training and online courses to support your career development and growth.
To be successful in this role:
- GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or a relevant NVQ2.
- Experience in a similar environment & Mental Health
- Verbal and written communication skills
