Bank Support Worker in Nottingham

There is no minimum number of hours you’re required to work, though it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.

Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the nursing shifts secured with Elysium that you want. 

Whether your experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank HCA or SW with an hourly rate plus a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and much more.

What you will be doing:

You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Challenging Behaviours and Mental Health. Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.

The service operates 24/7. Standard shifts are 12.5 hours a day, on a 0 hour contract, so you can pick and choose when you work.

Location: Tottle Brook House, Calverton Drive, Strelley, Nottingham, NG8 6QN

Tottle Brook House consists of five bespoke, single-person apartments within a registered care setting with 24 hour nursing support. It provides a robust environment and high intensity care model which is designed to support people who have a Learning Disability & Autism with highly complex needs and behaviours that challenge, enabling them to live meaningful lives as active members of the community.

This includes service users who may be stepping down from hospital or whose community placements have broken down. 
 
The aim of the service is to support people to move back to their home area and be closer to their families.
