Join us on this programme and as a graduate trainee you’ll work on diverse and complex audit engagements, learning about all the components that make a successful business. Applying a questioning mind and critically assessing information that organisations provide, you’ll develop your skills to deliver independent insight, challenge and high-quality audit expertise. You’ll also play a big part in our continuous improvement of audit quality.
The work is challenging and rewarding. Throughout the programme you’ll have the support of your senior leaders, engagement leader and the broader Audit community, enabling you to be at your best and build your network. We’ll give you the skills, tools and intelligent systems you need to grow and learn.
Over 3 years you’ll combine audit delivery and study to work toward a professional qualification, the ACA qualification or CA equivalent in Scotland. Your programme might see you working in a specific industry sector or across a variety of industries, depending on the office you join. In the final year of the programme, you’ll also have the chance to gain experience in different areas of the Audit practice through our rotation opportunities.
After completing your qualification, the learning and career opportunities continue. You can take the valuable technical skills, broad commercial understanding and in-depth knowledge of one or more industry sectors, to continue building an exciting and varied long-term career.
Our firm’s hybrid working model balances the flexibility of working from home with the importance of collaborating and learning in offices or at client sites. We trust our people to be where our clients need them to be, with our client-facing colleagues working together in person as often as needed. You’ll be empowered by the technology that supports us to work flexibly across our collaborative offices spaces, building friendships and shared experiences, innovating and learning together. Some travel is likely for audit work and because the work is seasonal, you should expect there to be busy times of the year.
Join us and be part of an inclusive team that’s supportive of individual wellbeing and embraces diversity – and the meaningful difference this has for our people, our firm, the companies we audit and our communities. If you’re curious, resilient, and agile you could thrive with us.
