Join us for your placement year in summer 2024! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.

Based at the Clay Cross plant near to Chesterfield in Derbyshire, the purpose of this role is to help the Health, Safety and Environmental Department in carrying out duties which ensure compliance with legislation and conformity to recognised standards. You will also be assisting with Risk Assessments, Audits and Accident Investigations.

The HSE internship is a varied one, involving contact with every part of the business, and no day is the same in such a busy manufacturing environment.

Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.

An undergraduate student with a desire to complete a 12-month work placement as part of your degree studies.

• Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

• Ability to communicate confidently with people

• Ability to plan and organise time effectively

• Good attention to detail (ability to analyse information) and a quality mind-set

• Ability to take initiative and be tenacious in achieving goals

Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Monday – Thursday 07.00 - 16.00 and Fridays 07.00 - 12.00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunchbreak.

Travel: This role is located in Clay Cross, Chesterfield. Public transport is available from Chesterfield however current interns commute via car share / car from nearby towns/cities such as Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Sheffield, Mansfield, and surrounding areas. Please ensure you sufficiently plan your relocation or planned commute prior to joining us.
