We are currently seeking a Payroll Project Support professional to join our team, reporting to the Group Payroll Implementation and Compliance Lead.

Role Overview:

As a Payroll Project Support, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of payroll projects, with a primary focus on testing all payroll systems. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, be highly organized, and possess the flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the team and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of all payroll systems, identifying defects and implementing resolutions/enhancements.
• Develop and execute test scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Track project requirements and milestones.
• Provide support to the Payroll Project Team in testing and project administration.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Reward Team, People Services, Group IT, etc.
• Deliver training and support to the payroll team and wider business for system and process changes.

Skills Required:

• In-depth understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements, providing guidance on their impact on systems and processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and intelligently use data.
• Exceptional organisational skills and a commitment to high levels of accuracy.
• Strong IT skills and an excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel (e.g., vlookups, macros, validation, conditional formatting).
• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Positive, forward-thinking attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle confidential information in adherence to GDPR legislation.
• Team player with a sense of ownership and pride in performance.
• Passion for pets is a must!

Additional Information:

Some travel may be required in the fulfilment of responsibilities, including visits to locations such as Handforth, Swindon, or Stafford.
