We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of a fluent French Speaking Credit Controller.
This role is located either in Birmingham or Worthing and will follow a Hybrid working model.
The role holder will provide an excellent sales ledger management service to our Clients by handling all debt collection activity and minimising the risks of losses for our Clients and for HSBC Invoice Finance through accurate use of various risk tools and through attention to detail when managing ledgers.
In this role, you will:
• Be responsible for a portfolio of around 25-30 clients.
• Be responsible for the Client’s sales ledger management, collecting aged debt and taking steps to proactively reduce debt in its early stages.
• Resolve complex queries relating to credit, debit and ledgers.
• Make and receive calls to facilitate payment of outstanding arrears.
• Support a Client Services team in the development and execution of a high quality client-centric service culture that delivers superior post-sales support.
• Continuously monitor and gather information to assess potential impacts and identify risks, necessary changes and business opportunities.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Be fluent in French and English.
• Ability to read and write in the languages as above.
• Previous experience in customer or client facing role.
• Deliver a prompt, personalized service to customers and colleagues.
• Plan and prioritise work in order to deliver high quality work on time.
• Experience using Microsoft packaged such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Work on tasks independently and take appropriate responsibility for actions and decisions.
