Platform Architect – Enterprise Mobile

They also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world’s leading international bank.
Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.
Role Description:
The primary purpose of the role is to deliver high quality Infrastructure Architecture and Solution Designs that satisfy the needs of the business and meet the requirements of CTO and Cybersecurity.
The Lead Infrastructure Solutions Architect will also peer review designs and solution artefacts (e.g., patterns) from other Solutions Architects in CTO Colleague & Collaboration (C&C) ensuring they align with the overall C&C Strategy.
The team also contributes to the management & optimisation of the portfolio of infrastructure for each business unit, driving operational improvement & cost efficiencies.
The Lead Infrastructure Solutions Architect will also be expected to play a key role in the evolution and development of the Architecture function, including governance, training, mentoring and tooling.
Responsibilities:
· Delivery new IT services, exploiting current infrastructure technologies
· Drive the migration of existing applications to our cloud platforms
· This role will be part of the Architecture team with a dotted line to the Real Time Communications team within the CTO function in IT.
· Work with and manage senior business and technology stakeholders in regard to Enterprise Mobile technical design and strategy.
· Provide strategic technical direction and roadmap for Enterprise Mobile globally, to meet business requirements
· Provide technical oversight of key programmes in the Enterprise Mobile space
· Work with the EUS Customer Experience team to gain customer feedback on Enterprise Mobile to drive product development
Essential Skillset/Experience:
· Experience of working with Enterprise Mobile in a large complex organisation
· Experience in deploying infrastructure into Azure and building Cloud Solutions
· Experience of Mobile Application deployment within an Enterprise including and understanding of building applications (note: an application development background is desirable but not essential)
· A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness
· Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing senior stakeholders, negotiating effectively and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations
· A track record of making complex business decisions
