Role Description:

Colleague & Collaboration provides intuitive and easy to use technology and services and a world class user experience, empowering our colleagues to easily collaborate and deliver against the Banks Strategy. This is embodied through the provision of Enterprise End User Devices such as Thin Clients, MacBooks, Mobiles and Windows based devices, allowing access to a whole host of collaboration software covering Email to chat to file sharing and Video conferencing. Multiple end user operating Systems are molded into a corporate form from Windows to IOS and Android as well as MacOS and Elux. Interactive whiteboards and Digital signage allow our colleagues to share anywhere along with a best in class Video Conferencing system. A global Managed print solution is also available with all products backed up by Customer Centric support services, covering all of the End User Services products and beyond.   

Elevated Technology Services provides bespoke and tailored services to colleagues whose roles require a different Technology approach. Broadly speaking these are the Executives & senior management, Traders, colleagues who interface with high revenue generating customers and colleagues who have assistive technology requirements.

The Technology Assurance Manager will lead a function within the Elevated Technology Services (ETS) Area.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the products our customers consume are meeting their current and future needs. You’ll put the customer at the heart of what we do, proactively engaging with customer stakeholders, product, fulfilment and engineering teams, constantly working to improve the products we provide to ensure we meet the changing needs of our customers.

You will create and own the product roadmap and backlog for ETS, producing product requirements documents, authoring epics, features and user stories to feed into the platform product roadmaps.

You will be an evangelist for end user technology products to ensure they are meeting the unique needs of our customers and ensuring we are helping them get the best use of technology to help them thrive.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes and practices to ensure a clear understanding of ongoing end user needs and market trends to identify and develop product requirements, working closely with ETS function leads and UX lead.

  • Own the process to identify, track and resolve product issues/enhancements specific to ETS.

  • Continuously evaluate products performance and that they meet changing end user needs.

  • Create and own product roadmaps for ETS.

  • Work with Platform Product Managers to integrate ETS specific product requirements into product roadmaps with clear deliverables and timelines.

  • Work with UX to map customer journeys, highlighting and progressing areas of improvement required.

  • Ensure technology change into the ETS environments is managed effectively, to meet the specific needs of the user base, without negative impact.

  • Own and produce operational MI for ETS to ensure service excellence.

  • Build collaborative relationships with platform product and engineering teams to ensure the unique needs of ETS are understood.

Requirements

Essential Skillset/Experience:

 

  • Excellent understanding of and passion for end user technology

  • Excellent commination skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to create engaging content to bring strategic value to life to multiple audiences, so strong storytelling and presentation skills are required.

  • Be able to demonstrate the capabilities of technology to customers to help them drive business value.

  • Capability to empathise with customers to understand and convey their needs to technology platforms to deliver technology solutions that deliver business value.

  • Experience of leading teams across multiple locations

  • Proven skills in conducting research and analysing data to craft product visions.
