Join us for your placement year in summer 2024! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.

The Spares Planning and Procurement department is a busy, thriving department, central to the procurement and availability of spares parts for the merchant customer supply chain and for our (350+) service engineers, by planning incoming component material and finished product from the international supply chain.

We co-ordinate with a number of Bosch sites and independent suppliers and plan production requirements onsite at Worcester. The department supports service engineers in the field with management of stock profiles and correct system replenishment of stock, to ensure the ‘first time fix’ KPI for our Service department and ultimately, the end customer for heating and hot water.

Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.

Our ideal candidate should:

• Enjoy a good mix of data analysis and communication, both internally and externally and have an analytical approach.
• Have computer literacy – this is a must with a good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages.

The following skills and attributes would be a bonus but aren't essential to the role:

• Supply chain experience
• SAP software

Expected Start Date: July 2024

Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Monday – Thursday 08.00 - 17.00 and Fridays 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1-hour unpaid lunchbreak.
