Are you an experienced Hospital Director with an impressive history of successfully running a hospital? If you are looking for a new opportunity to further develop a unique and established rehab Mental Health hospital for men and women with complex needs, then apply today and lead the team at Bromley Hospital in South London.

As Hospital Director, you will lead and manage a diverse multi-disciplinary clinical and administrative workforce, ensuring excellent care is delivered and operational performance is maintained, while ensuring quality and financial targets are met.

Bromley Road Hospital provides care and treatment to men and women with enduring mental health issues, complex needs and some with complicated addiction histories. The hospital is located in Catford, South London - near Lewisham - with excellent transport links to the rest of London, Surrey and Kent.

Our Hospital Director role involves:

  • Continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers
  • Ensure quality and financial targets are met, and facilitate the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and service users, and also reflect market trends and evidence-based practice
  • As a member of the senior management team, you will contribute to the strategic development of the hospital, ensuring adherence to the hospital’s objectives and business plan
  • Promote and enhancing the hospital and the wider region’s reputation for care and service.

To be successful as Hospital Director, you will need:

  • An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector (essential), together with an understanding of mental health issues and a passion for improving clinical quality and patient care.
  • Strong commercial acumen, in order to support successful service delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development, and revenue generation.
  • An inclusive, open and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership, is a critical factor in the success of this role, in order to provide direction and implement change.
