What you will be doing:
This two-in-one role will see you join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or transferable skills from another industry, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.
As a Support Worker you will be supporting service users with all aspects of daily living including personal care at varying degrees. On a day-to-day basis you will be assisting service users with general home tasks including cooking, laundry, and cleaning. You will also support with activities, hobbies, and interests, whether its completing jigsaw puzzles or going on zoo trips.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.
You will have access to the Elysium Wellbeing team, which is on hand to keep you feeling great; be it a chat, or group activities.
You will work on shifts, 7.5 hours a day, between the hours 7am - 2.30pm and 2pm- 10pm, including weekends on a rota basis. Permanent, 37.5 hours, full-time contract. Extra shifts are optional.

Location: 78 Park Road, Hampton Hill, Hampton, Middlesex, TW12 1HR
This is a service which provides support for people who may be living with moderate learning disabilities with associated health needs, autism and behaviours.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will offer support to people as part of their care pathway. Whether it is moving from their community placement or a family home because they require more structured care and support.
Things you will have:
- Must hold the UK drivers license for insurance purposes to use the company vehicle
- Must be local or based at a reasonable commute distance and time
- The ability to show strong empathy, a caring and compassionate nature
- Willing to support the residents with the personal hygiene
- People skills, communication skills and a good sense of humour
- Willingness to deal with the challenging behaviour
- A positive and professional approach
- Reliable, flexible, hard working and honest
20-hour Student and Skilled Worker Visas' cannot be accepted.
