Are you a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist wanting an autonomous role in secure mental healthcare, with robust CPD and career development opportunities?
This is a new position with a developing psychology service at Rosebank House, which provides you the opportunity to shape the service in an area of professional interest.
You will support the design, development and implementation of new treatment directions to meet the changing needs of the Rosebank population, while enjoying the benefits that come with being part of an established and highly regarded regional Psychology network within Elysium.
This is an exciting time in the south regional psychology services, with an expansion in networking opportunities, professional development and robust access to CPD.
You will be line managed and supervised by a HCPC Registered Psychologist and will be part of an inclusive and supportive team of other Psychologists, Trainee Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists and therapy staff across the region. Interests and experiences in the region include DBT, CFT, CBT, arson, trauma, sexual and violent offending and risk management.
You will be/have:
- A fully qualified Psychologist
- HCPC registered
- Confident in risk assessment and therapeutic approaches with mental health clients
- An interest in CBT, DBT or compassion focussed therapy
- Chartered (or charterable status) with the British Psychological Society (desirable)
Where you will be working
You’ll be working at Rosebank House in Reading, which is a complex rehabilitation service for men and women with a primary diagnosis of mental illness. The service provides support for individuals with schizophrenia including treatment resistant, schizoaffective disorder, depression, anxiety. They may also have a secondary diagnosis including alcohol, drug and substance misuse, behavioural disorders such as compulsive obsessive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar, panic disorder and Autism.
You’ll be joining this small but established and well-run service, with a supportive team that works well together to deliver the best outcomes for the service users. You’ll also have access to the regional network of Psychologists, giving you access to and support of like-minded Psychology professionals.
