Job description
If you enjoy creating a clean and safe environment where clean is never clean enough then lead the housekeeping team at Braeburn House as the Lead Housekeeper and be a part of meaningful change.
Working 37.5 hours a week, you will be part of an environment that has a strong emphasis on teamwork with career opportunities that can see your career grow.
You will lead the housekeeping team in cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors areas. You will design and deliver supervisions and assist with inductions to new members of the housekeeping team.
As the Lead Housekeeper, you will be responsible for providing support, guidance and supervision, whilst monitoring the recruitment and performance reviews to ensure continuity of services and facilities.
Other responsibilities include:
- Adhere with all Elysium policies and procedures, including compliance with Health and Safety, Security regulations
- Plans and delivers a comprehensive cleaning schedule
- Assists with induction and orientation of new members of the team
- Reports any defects, faults and or maintenance issues
- Carries out stock takes and orders cleaning/laundry materials from approved suppliers
- Promote and follow Government and company processes
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Experience of cleaning within a similar environment
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done
- Knowledge of COSHH / Health & Safety regulations
- Have good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
