The Web Developer, will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites that meet the needs of our clients and enhance the user experience. You will work collaboratively with our design and development teams to produce high-quality, responsive, and visually appealing web solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Web Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications, websites
- Code Quality: Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Responsive Design: Ensure that web solutions are responsive and mobile-friendly, delivering a consistent user experience across all devices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers and project managers to turn design mockups and wireframes into functional web interfaces, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Testing: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues or bugs in web applications.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize web applications for speed and efficiency, focusing on improving loading times and overall performance.
- Security: Implement security best practices to protect web applications from common vulnerabilities and threats.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and technical processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a web developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, JavaScript, React
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization and responsive design principles.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with serverless architecture and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of web security best practices and experience with security auditing.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
- Experience with Shopify e-commerce platform.
- Familiarity with headless systems.
- Understanding of SEO best practices.
- UX/UI design skills.
