Orb Recruitment have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Structural Design Engineer, with experience working with Lifting Beams/Equipment, to join a rapidly growing business in Doncaster. Our client is a lifting equipment design and manufacturer which offers it's services to clients in the Construction, Offshore, Railways and more. The Role Develop design solutions for lifting and material handling equipment Eurocode. Perform structural analysis and simulation to assess the performance under various load conditions. Ensure all designs adhere to relevant design codes. Collaborate with manufacturers, engineers, architects and more. Develop new product ranges and proactively look for ways to improve the design. Cost evaluation, looking for value engineered solutions. Auto CAD, Inventor or SolidWorks. Manage project workload. Develop client relationships by ensuring projects are completed efficiently and professionally. Skills/Qualifications Degree level qualifications in Structural Engineering. Experience working with SolidWorks. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proactive approach to work. Salary £35,000 - £40,000 per year , depending entirely on experience and skillset.
