TECH MANAGER | FASHION BRAND | HYBRID | SALARY £45,000 - £50,000

This is a multi-product brand who are looking for a Tech Manager to come and own a large category whilst overseeing and leading the way for their garment technologists & creatives across the product development team.

You will already be operating at a Senior Garment Tech level or as a Manager, meaning that you will have the experience of developing a team.

THE ROLE: Work with your Buying & Design Managers on a daily basis to ensure that styles are going through the fit process in timely manner Ensuring that all work being done is to the best of everyone's ability You will be a brand advocate, continuously looking to protect and improve brand image & consumer perception of the brand Any sample, fabric or trim concerns from a legal. compliance or ethical point of view should be being highlighted to the wider team Review all fit processes from grading, workbook management & supplier communication Ability to request fair cost price reductions, whilst ensuring the wider team is conducting requests in an appropriate manner Over see the set up of standardised blocks Create new specs for initial samples Confidently to review the supply base and capabilities, an ideal applicant may be able to introduce and onboard new suppliers Request return rate reports in Monday trade, sign offs and lesson learnt meetings from the team Set up standards for: Test reports, quality checks, care labels and supplier manuals Request AQL reports from your suppliers and manage the production seal process Proactively support buying & design team with new sample development Support with fabric and trim sourcing with supplier reviews and trips BBBH29397
