Flood Risk Engineer

to join their team in the Nottingham/East Midlands region. Responsibilities of the the Flood Risk Engineer: Conduct comprehensive flood risk assessments and drainage work. Collaborate on projects with developers, contractors, and local councils to ensure effective flood mitigation strategies. Generate detailed reports, quotes, and calculations, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner. Utilise engineering, geology, and hydrology knowledge to address challenges. Travel to various project sites, assessing conditions and coordinating with project stakeholders. Qualifications: Qualification in engineering, geology, hydrology, or related field. Previous experience in general civil engineering, preferably with a focus on flood risk assessment. Package: Negotiable salary based on experience Westfield health coverage 23 days holiday (increasing with seniority) Vehicle/Mileage paid Flexible working hours (37.5 hours/week) Hybrid working after 6 months
