We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Team Leader with expertise in Functional Safety to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities: Responsible for leading the technical delivery of Functional Safety related services, assisting Operation Management to drive the business performance to maximise revenue and profit whilst maintaining high standards of quality, safety and staff well being. In conjunction with the UK C&P Management Team where appropriate, identify and develop business opportunities, and maintain a mature customer portfolio, whilst developing new business relationships. Develop and implement functional safety concepts and strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that safety requirements are adequately addressed throughout the development process. Provide technical leadership in functional safety to support project teams. Maintain ongoing ISO17025 and ISO 17065 accreditations to the satisfaction of UKAS to demonstrate to customers a high level of capability. Conduct regular safety audits and assessments. Manage and mitigate risks associated with functional safety services. Provide training and mentorship to team members on functional safety concepts and practices. Qualifications

Essential First degree or equivalent - e.g. BA (Hons), BSc(Hons), etc Able to identify and advise on business development/efficiency opportunities to ensure sustainable revenues at acceptable margins. Expert Technical knowledge of Functional Safety Certifications. Able to adopt a flexible approach to work and react effectively to a rapidly changing environment. Effective people management techniques. A working knowledge of H&S and quality systems Experience of managing within budgetary guidelines and effective cost control mechanisms appropriate to the needs of the business to ensure P&L targets are met. Experience of leading and/or influencing sizeable teams of people. Expert knowledge of Functional Safety product certification Desirable Working knowledge of contract and employment law. Previous exposure to the functional safety services as part of a TIC company. Good track record of developing new business and maintaining effective customer relationships. Relevant management qualification/training e.g. ILM, NEBBS, etc. Relevant professional qualification/membership of industry body. Additional Information
