Job description

We are delighted to be working on behalf of a market leading and successful organisation who are recognised leaders within Standby Power Solutions to find a full time and permanent Maintenance Engineer to join their team covering the Southeast. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with all departments and managers to support the delivery of business success.

All PPE, training, own van, expenses, healthcare plan, overtime, uniform, certifications included.

Key Responsibilities: Extensive travel within the UK and occasionally may be asked to travel outside the UK. To organise & complete maintenance visits on industrial battery chargers according to manufacturers recommendations. To replace batteries on customer sites. To return maintenance documentation in an accurate and timely manner. To survey customer sites for asset management purposes. To advise Head Office of any sales opportunities identified during the course of duties. To promote the company and act in a professional and diplomatic manner at all times. To adhere to quality standards at all times. To undertake other reasonable tasks as requested. Feedback quality issues to the office. To provide technical support to colleagues & customers as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Health & Safety certification CSCS Customer accreditation eg. UKPN, National Grid, London Underground Understanding of SLA, NiCd and Plante batteries Electrical/electronic fault finding Electromechanical installation Physical ability to do the job (manual handling) Attention to detail Analytical problem solving Good, clear, timely reporting
