Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: London, United Kingdom

Rota: 4 days on / 4 days off - 12 hour shifts, days and nights

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary Range: £35,000 to £44,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)

What we are looking for: We are looking for an experienced mechanical maintenance Engineer with at least 3 years experience within building services. You will be responsible for maintaining commercial buildings such as; Hospitals. Offices, Research centres, Museums, Retail stores etc.

Main Duties: Daily maintenance of cooling towers, chillers and general water treatment

You will be carrying out daily maintenance on Air handling units, fan coil units, changing filters, boiler maintenance, pressurisationunits, cooling valves, dehumidifiers etc.

You will be responsible for daily PPMs and routine maintenance is carried out in a timely manner

You will be responsible for reactive maintenance throughout the sites and you will be expected to correctly log all jobs.

On a daily basis you will be working within plant rooms and carrying out routine maintenance

You will be expected to be able to carry out work as a long engineer, but also working within a team when necessary

What we expect from you: Fully qualified (NVQ level 2 and 3 mechanical bias) - essential

Mechanical degree will be advantageous

Legionella certificate - desirable

At least 4 years experience carrying out building services maintenance in a commercial environment - essential

To participate in a potential call out rota - desirable

Experience liaising with sub contractors would be advantageous

References ready to be provided - 1 minimum
