Location:Southeast England Role Overview:As a Mobile Hydraulic Engineer for a large nationwide hydraulics organisation within the Southeast of England, you will be responsible for providing on-site hydraulic services, installation, fault-finding, design, and mechanical engineering expertise. This dynamic role requires a proactive and skilled individual with a strong background in hydraulics. Key Responsibilities: On-Site Hydraulic Services:Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and installations of hydraulic systems on client premises. Hydraulic System Design:Contribute to the design and layout of hydraulic systems, ensuring efficiency and functionality. Fault Finding:Use troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues in hydraulic systems promptly and efficiently. Installation:Conduct the installation of hydraulic components and systems according to specifications and industry standards. Mechanical Engineering:Apply mechanical engineering principles with a focus on hydraulics to ensure optimal system performance. Customer Interaction:Interact with clients to understand their hydraulic system requirements, provide technical advice, and address inquiries. Documentation:Maintain accurate records of service activities, installations, and repairs. Complete service reports and relevant documentation. Adherence to Safety Standards:Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines during all on-site activities. Equipment Utilisation:Operate specialised tools and equipment necessary for hydraulic services and repairs. Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other engineers and team members to address complex hydraulic issues. Continuous Learning:Stay updated on industry advancements, technologies, and best practices in hydraulic engineering. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field. Proven experience in hydraulic system servicing, fault finding, and installations. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles with a focus on hydraulics. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. Customer-focused with effective communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driving license. Working Conditions: Mobile role with travel to client sites in the Southeast of England. Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Flexible working hours to accommodate client needs.
