Development Manager East Midlands 40 hours pw Contract, 2-3 months+ £55,000- £60,000 Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a public sector client to recruit to a Development Project Manager on an initial interim basis. Responsibilities of the Development Manager includes: Project managing the delivery of the organisations development programme to agreed time, cost and quality standards Providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders Maintaining a strong network of contacts to support the delivery of development projects Liasing with contractors, consultants, valuers, solicitors, developers and Home England Officers Manging planning conditions Preparing and maintaining scheme appraisals and cashflow forecasts Providing detailed analysis of progress of each home in build and assessment of progress with contract programme delivery Negotiating construction contracts to deliver best value for money Undertaking contract management and administration, including attendance at site meetings and progress review site visits Preparing accurate and succinct written reports for approval by Directors and Board Representing the organisation at external meetings Requirements of the Development Manager: Previous experience of the delivery of large multi tenure sites in a property development role. Project management experience Familiarity with Homes England's requirements. Knowledge of the property development process, the built environment and principles of good design. Understanding of housing market dynamics.
