Fire Alarm Engineer

required for our client, a rapidly growing local Fire & Security installation and maintenance company based near Sutton. Due to expansion and a number of contracts being taken on board in the new year, our client is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to carry out servicing and maintenance works across London and the home counties. Our client currently has contracts with a number of prestigious sports facilities, manufacturing plants, government sites, office blocks, and educational facilities, along with a wide variety of different commercial clients across London. The successful Fire Alarm Engineer will be travelling across London to these sites to complete regular servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of fire alarms, life safety systems, and integrated security systems. Due to the travel requirements of the role, the successful Fire Alarm Engineer will ideally be based within the M25 corridor and be happy to travel across London and the surrounding counties. Position Requirements Previous experience completing servicing and maintenance works on commercial fire alarm systems Experience working on Notifier or Gent fire alarm systems desirable Experience completing fire alarm system commissioning works desirable Full UK driving licence Based within the M25 or surrounding areas, and happy to commute into London on a regular basis Any Fire Industry Association (FIA) qualifications, such as BS 5839-1 are desirable Fire Alarm Engineer

Position Remuneration Salary £30,000 - £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications Company van provided, along with fuel care 40 hour working week Overtime starting at 1.5x hourly rate Weekend work available if desired, with 10 hours guaranteed overtime pay 1 in 11 week call out rota 28 day's holiday, rising to 31 after 3 years' service, and 33 day's after 5 years Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
