Category Manager - French Speaking in London

Become part of our consumer client's international procurement function, who are responsible for sourcing all goods and services the business needs to operate. As a Category Manager you will be responsible for leading commercial relationships with a range of suppliers who manufacture a selection of brands, working cross-functionally with the wider team and an international supply base. Key Responsibilities: Conduct supplier sourcing events Lead pricing and commercial negotiations for new and existing agreements Ensure all commercial terms are captured in robust contractual agreements. Provide procurement support to Quality, Technical and Operations teams in the set-up of new suppliers. Represent Procurement on cross-functional projects including New Product Development, Sustainability, and Continuous Improvement projects. Develop and maintain excellent supplier relationships. Responsible for resolving contract manufacturing commercial issues ensuring relevant stakeholders are consulted and informed. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: High professional proficiency in both English and French language (essential) Experience in Directs or Co-pack procurement (essential). Experience in using Category Management to develop buying strategies Strong commercial negotiation skills Experience of working in cross-functional teams with technical and non-technical functions Experience working in FMCG or Consumer goods organisations Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Professional qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain (or working towards)
